I want to love these so much for the aesthetic look of them, but for fit they are terrible. I am true to a ladies size 8. I purchased these in a men's unisex size M5.5 and I can't even get my foot in them. I considered repurchasing them in a 6.5, but how tight the gore on the instep is, and how stiff the material is, with little give to the elastic, I doubt I would still be able to squeeze my foot in even. If I go larger to accommodate my high instep, the shoe will be too long. It's unfortunate because I truly love the look of this shoe.
