Bought for my son. He’s 11, 5ft tall, 83lbs. His Columbia boots (similar to these) are a size 5, but his toe is just starting to touch the ends. Didn’t think we’d make it through this winter , his second season wearing them. Also needed an extra pair of boots when the other ones get soaked from puddle jumping in the milder temps. lol. He wore the other day. They’re a tad big but worked great despite having a little extra room in the toe. They have a zip which is kind of difficult to use, but adjusting the laces we have them so he can slip the boots on/off without needing to undo! He said they’re comfy and warm.
One thing I think is worth mentioning - they are advertised in the description as “waterproof”, but the actual tags on the boots itself - when we opened them (bought online) - say water “resistant “. Nowhere on the boots, tags or box says “waterproof”. (Why I took off one star) Now I don’t know if that’s a big deal - haven’t tried enough to know yet. I did think that was kind of crappy they technically weren’t properly advertised by SVP. My kid plays hard and loves mud and puddles so maybe decision to keep screwed us if his feet end up soaked.
But they are soft and warm and comfy. Feel well made and my kid loves so I guess if it’s an issue it’s on me for not returning them.
