Vans did a great job with this shoe. Everything feels like it was built with the intent to take a beating and preform well with sports like skateboarding, BMX and whatever or wherever your feet take you. I appreciate the amount of ventilation there is all around the shoe and the welded materials make for a very durable material although, the placement of the welding at the front of the shoe makes for a pinching feeling when walking in these shoes for too long. I’m hoping that it will loosen up the more I use it but, with it being a composite material I’m sure it will be difficult. The insole that came with the shoe is very basic and should be changed out before using for impact wear like skateboarding or other similar sport. The grip on the sole is very good and the clear rubber is a great look with the knitting around the upper. The suede feels like real leather and could possibly be but, I’m not sure. All materials on this shoe are very solid. I’ve been using these shoes for cycling, boarding and just short distances walking around town doing errands and I have no major issues yet. 9/10 for me on these kicks!!! Also SVP with the great price on these. I love not spending more then $50 on a premium pair of shoes.
I love these shoes so much that after I purchased the first pair, I purchased a second pair, and 2 pairs of the exact white ones.
I ordered these in an M6.5, and they are pretty true to size to the W8 I generally am.
These are well constructed, and I love the clear, bluish/beige rubber sole so much. The sole was what actually initially attracted me to these shoes.
They are a snugger fit than other Vans, and they conform to my foot nicely, with a fairly roomy toe box.
They are very aesthetically pleasing, and they go well with a variety of wardrobe articles.
I think they will hold up well, and be very durable. I highly recommend them. A+++++
