This boot checks all the boxes for what I look for in a winter boot. At the top of my list is that it must be wide-foot friendly, and to my delight, these are. The outer material is leather, which is great for durability and not to mention that GORE-TEX is the best waterproofing there is out there. I knew that I specifically wanted Vibram outsoles, and these ones hit the mark with the ICETECK rubber. Vibram is known for their grippy rubber and not only that, but the lugs on the soles are nice and grippy as well. I've walked up and down snowy ramps with no problems. Moving onto the inside, UGG is known for their plush sherpa and while this one isn't 100% wool (which is the only slight disappointment), it does use a decent amount of upcycled wool making it warm and fluffy. Other details that I like on this boot is the overall shape. The gradual slant from the tongue to the back of the boot paired with the heel pull tab makes these easy to slip on and off, and walking is much more comfortable as the back cuff of the boot does not dig in. I found these true to size but other reviews say they're half a size big, which I could see being the case too. Overall, these are such a great boot and definitely worth the price!
