Great jacket

I have this hanging next to a Patagonia Triolet ($500+ jacket) in the closet, and the jacket is very similar, but the material on this Terrex jacket is thicker and more rigid than the Triolet. It has stiff zippers and a thick outer layer, it feels like it will be very durable.

I normally wear a large, and this medium is larger than some of my "Large" coats! Make sure you size down. This is a killer deal for a 20k rated hard shell, a comparable coat from Arc'Teryx, Outdoor Research, Patagonia, Black Diamond etc. would be more than twice the price.

Would like more information on the jacket itself. Can you where jacket as is in -40 in the winter?

Beautiful jacket, very long in the body. Good weatherproofing at wrists and waist to keep the snow out. Should be nice and dry with the 3 layer gore-tex like shell. I'm 5' 8" and with a small I have lots of room to wear a heavy layer (hoodie or sweater/ liner jacket) underneath. Zippers are a bit stiff, as is the material, but both should break in soon. Great price from SVP, would recommend this jacket to others.
