The waterproofing on these are superb. My feet stayed dry all day working in the cold, wet snow. However, I could only wear them every few days due to the amount of blisters and discomfort of wearing them for a day. That is even after applying leather conditioner and 2 pairs of socks. I don’t have wide feet, but these boots were made for slender ballerina feet with short toes. The toe cap squishes your toes so they can barely wiggle- almost like a tapered pointed toe high-heel. I even half sized up! Easily the most uncomfortable boot I’ve ever (attempted) to wear. I took the $90 loss (they were on sale) and bought other new work boots- the difference is night and day.
