On Wednesday, September 13, 2023, we held our 6th Annual Tournament of Hope in Support of SickKids, at Copper Creek Golf Club in Kleinburg. We are pleased to announce that we have surpassed our goal for 2023 of $200,000 and raised $250,380 to benefit SickKids.
Since our 2017 inaugural tournament, to date, we have collectively raised $1,318,685! We are sincerely grateful for the outpouring of support over the years, and could not have achieved this goal without our sponsors, participants, and donors. We sincerely thank you for your kindness and generosity over the years.
All proceeds from the SVP Sports Tournament of Hope go to support SickKids.
WE CONTINUE OUR COMMITMENT TO RAISING FUNDS FOR SICKKIDS AND THE FUTURE OF CHILD HEALTHCARE
This year, we raised funds for SickKids 2025, an initiative dedicated to ushering in a new era in child healthcare: Precision Child Health. What is Precision Child Health? It’s a movement to deliver individualized care for every patient at SickKids – one that challenges a one-size-fits-all approach to medicine by using integrated data about each child’s unique genes, biology and environment to tailor care. Through novel technology and innovative precision approaches, and by building on the paediatric care excellence SickKids is already known for, SickKids will diagnose diseases more accurately, provide targeted treatments faster and help prevent disease sooner. SickKids will also partner with patients, families and communities to ensure that every child has access to the best possible care and the opportunity to participate in research, regardless of where they live or their socioeconomic status.

The SickKids VS Limits fundraising campaign supports three key elements: re-imagining the campus, including building a new patient care centre on University Avenue ($600 million); continuing breakthrough paediatric health research ($600 million); and establishing partnerships for better, coordinated patient care ($100 million).
